List your site

Get on the board. It costs $1.

A dollar keeps the bulk submitters out and pays for the judging. It buys you a permanent place on the board, scored by Jev against every question the board can be sorted by, now and as new ones appear. It does not buy a good verdict, a rank, or a refund if Jev decides your site isn’t real — and it is charged before Jev looks.

Your listing

9 sites on the board

The only thing Jev knows about you besides your name and your URL, so concrete beats enthusiastic. It is given to the model as a self-description, not as fact.

For your receipt, and so we can verify you own the listing if you ask for a change or a removal. Never shown on the board, never sold.

What the fee does and doesn’t buy

It buys a permanent place on the board and a verdict from Jev on every question the board can be sorted by — the ones that exist now and the ones bought later. One listing, scored forever.

You go on immediately, at the bottom. The board that is live at any moment is somebody's frozen purchase, so you cannot be slotted into it — but you are on it, visibly, from the minute you pay. The next rerank anybody buys ranks you among everyone else.

It does not buy a position. Where you land depends entirely on the question somebody else paid to sort by, and on what Jev makes of your one line. People routinely pay to put themselves above sites that scored better than they did; their number is printed next to them while they do it.

It is not refunded. Your listing is put to Jev once — is this a real product, service or project a person could actually use? Clear yeses go on the board, clear noes don’t, and anything in between waits for a human. The fee is charged before that happens and stays charged either way, because the judging is the thing you paid for and it costs the same whichever way it comes out.

That check is only about whether you belong on the board. It is never used to rank you — a moderation threshold quietly becoming an editorial one is how this sort of thing goes wrong.
